Athlete Protection & Injury Prevention Policy
The safety and well-being of all athletes is a top priority. To help create a safe training environment and reduce the risk of injury, all athletes, parents, and teams are expected to follow the policies below while using the facility, participating in lessons, clinics, or team rentals.
Athlete Responsibility
- Athletes must warm up and stretch properly before participating in any activity.
- Athletes are expected to use all equipment safely and only as instructed by trainers or staff.
- Any athlete experiencing pain, dizziness, illness, or signs of injury must immediately notify a coach, trainer, or staff member.
- Athletes should remain aware of their surroundings at all times, especially during hitting, pitching, or throwing activities.
Facility Safety
- No horseplay, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior will be tolerated inside or outside the facility.
- Only authorized participants are allowed inside training areas, cages, or lane spaces during scheduled sessions.
- Equipment must be returned properly after use to help prevent accidents and injuries.
- Walkways, entrances, and exits must remain clear at all times.
Protective Equipment
- Appropriate athletic attire and footwear must be worn during all training sessions.
- Helmets are strongly encouraged during hitting activities and must be worn whenever required by staff or instructors.
- Catchers must wear full protective gear during catching or bullpen work.
Parent & Team Cooperation
- Parents, coaches, and teams are expected to support all safety guidelines and help reinforce proper athlete behavior.
- Athletes may be removed from a session, clinic, or rental if unsafe conduct continues after a warning.
Injury & Medical Acknowledgement
- Participation in athletic activities carries an inherent risk of injury.
- By participating in lessons, clinics, rentals, or training activities, athletes and parents acknowledge these risks and agree to participate responsibly.
- Any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions that may affect participation should be communicated prior to training sessions.
Our goal is to provide a positive, competitive, and safe environment where athletes can continue to develop while minimizing unnecessary risk of injury.
